Ana Trujillo had a bond reduction hearing on July 18, 2013. The bond reduction was denied by the judge. In other news this website attempted to obtain the 9-1-1 tapes and transcripts of the phone call that Ana made to police after the murder of Alf Andersson. This request was denied due to an ongoing police investigation. This seems odd given that Ana said she killed the professor in self defense. What more is there to investigate?
As of this writing, Ana Trujillo, who is booked under the name of Ana Trujillo Fox, is still in the Harris County Jail awaiting arraignment. Her next court date is set for July 18, 2013, 338th Division.

Early on the morning of June 10, 2013 officers from the Houston Police Department were called to 1701 Hermann, #18B in response to assault in progress. Upon arriving at the residence, 1701 Hermann Drive #18B, Ana Lilia Trujillo answered the door. She was covered in blood. A man in his late fifties was lying on the floor between the entrance and the kitchen in a pool of blood, a stiletto high heel nearby. Trujillo was questioned at the scene and revealed that the deceased was her boyfriend, 59 year old Alf Stefan Andersson, a research professor at the University of Houston’s Central Campus.
What has been pieced together thus far is this:
During a night out on the town, which included wine and tequila at Bodega’s Taco Shop, they got into an argument. The spat continued at Andersson's exclusive Parklane apartment. As things tend to do during alcohol fueled arguments, things quickly got out of hand. Trujillo claims Andersson attacked her and to defend herself she stabbed him several times with her stiletto high heel. Brand unknown. During her preliminary court hearing it was noted that Andersson had 10 stab wounds in the head area and "15 to 20 puncture wounds about his head, neck and arms". It appears that Ana Trujillo was pretty upset with her lover. The quarrel stemmed from two incidents which occurred that night.
- A gentleman tried to buy Ana a drink earlier in the evening
- Ana expressed a desire to visit her daughter in Waco
